If I'd never have to mash A to get up again it would be too soon. Bosses in YK1 were some tedious shit, especially the two red gang dudes. I hope combat doesn't get much worse though because right now it's worse with every installment for me. And since Kiwami 1 in general is a lesser game than 0 I am not sure if I had gotten hooked enough to play through entire series, like I'm now determined to do. I really doubt I would have been that much into Kiwami 1 story if I didn't get to know these characters in 0 beforehand. Yeah I'm going through Kiwami 2 at the moment after starting with 0. I prefer gameplay over story, but I admit that ending was a gut punch.īetween this game and the Dark Souls trilogy, Japan is really kicking ass in the RPG market. The game did a good enough job of an actually fun jRPG style game that it is making me wonder whether or not I should play the Dragon Quest games. Really, I doubt I made much of a dent in the side content, despite doing most of the street encounter missions and the business management game to completion. I'm also a big fan of job systems acting in place of character classes, and lots of side content, which this game has a ton of. I love the protaganist and his growth, love the city he resides in, and love his supporting cast. I'll give Yakuza: Like a Dragon a very strong recommend. I'll probably do something healthy like read a book or something. And I'm fucking exhausted and don't want to see another Yakuza game for awhile. That's two Yakuza games in about a month. Nirvash, I just finished Yakuza: Like a Dragon in 9 days and 60 hours, after playing quickly through Yakuza 0 during the holiday break.
